Active ImageWorking collaboratively to build sustainable organizations has been the focus of Andrée Iffrig’s career. The techniques Andrée uses with clients come out of her experience of change situations locally and internationally. She prefers strength-based approaches to problem-focused ones and employs stories to affirm her clients’ innate understanding of how to solve challenges and remain true to their own highest values.

A strategic planner with a talent for seeing the long view, Andrée works with clients to align resources with a compelling vision. Originally trained as an architect in an interdisciplinary environment, she leverages her design and planning skills to make clients more successful with their strategic planning.

As a speaker and trainer, Andrée shows people how to build strong teams and communicate effectively. In a business world where change is the norm, her clients learn how to overcome barriers to change and create engaged employees in excellent organizations.

Current clients for seminars include a variety of corporate clients, the Management Certificate Program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the Executive Education and Lifelong Learning program at the University of Alberta School of Business. Speaking engagements in the past year have included the Haskayne School of Business, Canadian Information Processing Society, the Citizen’s Agenda (Sustainable Calgary), and business and nonprofit groups.

Andrée is a regular contributor on communications issues to CIPScene, a quarterly publication of the Canadian Information Processing Society, and also publishes a monthly newsletter, Leading with Stories through her website at www.limegrass.ca. She is the author with Canadian educator Keith Seel of the publication, BEING a Governor: A Process for Board Development (Volunteer Canada 2006).
